This is the proposal for a 3 bedroom maisonette in the northern superbs of Athens. Due to the location of the building environmentally friendly features could be elaborated with great effect enhancing the sustainable aspect of the development. We have proposed the first floor, which is the entrance level, to host the bedrooms while the second floor which provides the best views to host the living room, dinning area and kitchen. The house will incorporate photovoltaic panels in the main roof with the option of additional small wind turbines. At the surrounding grounds the proposal consists of vegetable gardens that could produce enough vegetables to feed the family throughout the year. Generous balconies and a second floor canopied space provide plenty of amenity space for the residence.
