Zero Carbon Community - Winning competition for the regeneration and introduction of renewable energy practices for a small community at the north of Greece. The project was founded by the E.U. and championed in Greece by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CERS). We were invited as part of a consortium to design the masterplan of the proposal and allocate all the functions / buildings in the wider context of the community. Proposals included the introduction of photovoltaics and thermal insulation in each home, district heating with heat and power unit (CHP) etc. We are 1 of 7 proposals chosen to be realized out of 42.
