2011 New London Architecture (New London Awards 2011)
Study on Urban Regeneration in the Clerkenwell area in London from SCALA ARCHITECTS. Our study was chosen as one of the five runners-up in the category Placemaking. The design proposes the rethink of a London hub that currently stands awkwardly between uses and functions. Our proposal attempts to enhance the local ecosystem and improve the functionality of urban space and urban mobility for different groups of the population providing a multiuse space for all.
